Stalwart blogger, Team Probert supporter and long time friend of Dad, Nick made a surprise guest appearance, turning up unannounced in a sunny square in the Swiss town of to give Dad the surprise of his life!
Good old Nick, it is hard to say who must have been the most surprised- Nick for having having found Team Probert, or Mark, either way it was a supreme effort on Nick's part. He didn't rush the shorts photo to you by any chance on account of me missing the payment deadline? Bill
Back in Blighty and what a whirlwind! And thuderstorm last night, to boot. Happy to present a live, unbiased report to all blogMilanofest fans that things are progressing really well out there. Morale good and peckers are collectively up, especially with the prosect of a bateau ride today - somewhat less numbing for the bums!
It was just one of life's really great and surreal experiences to witness the look on Mark's face and see him reel for fully 45 minutes after.
Mission accomplished......or was it all just a dream.
Thanks to Jan, Tom and Greg for the subterfuge and the team for all too brief, but brilliant company and the meal at Santys (almost an anagram of 'that' team!), accompanied by vain and dim waitress! She wasn't even blonde!
Swiss town of where? Well done Nick!! I'm sure any comments Mark may have made when he spotted you are unprintable! Wreey!! Jan x
ReplyDeleteWish I could've seen dads face!! So pleased it worked out, what a ledge :)
